ngk imr9c vs imr8c ???? spark plugs

Does anyone know which plugs would work best in 03 cbr 954?? I'm changing plugs, the ones currently in bike are ngk imr9c-9h I went to cycle shop and the sold me ngk imr8c-9h. i've done a lot of searching but havn't found anything yet.

Thats the same plug with a different heat rating, the 8/9 on the plug is the heat rating

I believe that the 8 is a hotter burning plug. It's harder to foul out - in case your bike runs rich or burns a little oil. Performance wise (if you're running a race bike), it MIGHT not be the optimal plug, but you can run it with no problems.

one temp range isn't going to make much of a difference if any at all unless you're running really high comp and race gas cams and stuff like that. i wouldn't worry about it but another tip is to go to an auto parts store for the plugs you'll save a good chunk of money. i usually have luck with advance
