usin a multimeter? very easy ways to find out if you have one. I can walk you through it.
Re: Charging prob. with gsxr
sometimes its not a bad recifier but the black plug (between recifier and harness) melts from the heat and then does not allow a propper connection. Check that! I hard wired mine (soldered the wires to that there was no plug) and didn;t have a problem after that.
Re: Charging prob. with gsxr
I just replaced my rectifier and stator because of a charging problem and the plug of the rectifier was all melted. but i already bought my new one and that plug was the only problem with it, still works just needs to be hard wired.

Yep - that seems to be an on going gixxer problem but an easy inexpensive fix to hard wire and you shouldn't have any more problems.

I switched my rectifier with my buddys and his bike works fine with my rectifier on it and my bike still does not work with his rectifier, but i am going to check the plug to see if it is melted
