The problem is the lid not closing all the way? so you just put some quick steel around the tank lip?

Im sick of my manass smelling like gas... its kinda funny when i roll stoppies with a tank thats somewhat full, gas goes everywhere.

 

I know what you mean bout the gas covering your tank when doin stoppies. makes the tank sticky addin more grip too. as for the cap not locking i just bought a billet pro-tec base and cap.

 

I rock skateboard grip tape. Your *** is plain and simply planted. you are not mvoing, but you get holes in your pants.

Also, just a FYI, i used a landscaping bould to dent the tank really deep, the used about a 6' inch dia rock to from it, i just wraped them in towels. I was at my buddies and was sick of being able to try spreaders so i was like **** it, im doing this ****... the bikes already trashed. :YEAH

go to pep boys or auto zone, buy some gas tank sealer, its like a little stick, mold it and put it on, works great after it hardens, 4$ max.

gas tank sealer at autozone or somewhere like said above comes ina stick. I used this on a fuel cell in my minitruck that was sucking in and leaking fixed it asap. Havent tried it on a bike my tanks never leaked but im sure it will work.

 

I just put 4 more rubber washers to eat up the space. Works perfect.

 

I used the tank sealer also, worked great ! But make sure to blow some air through you're vacuum hose after an hour or so, or else the tank sealer will come into it, and then you're tank will **** vacuum... And that ****'s sucked !

I had to buy a special tank sealer remover to get it out

 

if it's when your rollin stoppies, you deformed the filler hole.

and it seems like you've already figured that out....

Mine did the same thing... I put a vortex cap on and it cured it instantly.
