cracking rotros

whats up all. ive got a f4i and ive cracked 2 rear rotors in about a years time. is this normal? also my rear pads are warping and wearing funny. any thoughts?

you riding the rear brake alot? Instread of just when you need it. I've had mine glowing before but never cracked. Use stock pads if your not already they're way better

Probably riding the brake to hard,also if you run HH pads they get the rotor way to hot.If your wheelyin on the highway alot and using the brake the whole time that gets the rotor real hot.

I've cracked a couple also. It might just be something with the F4i rotors- 3 guys I ride with have had one or more crack as well. Riding the rear brake alot will cause it to warp and eventually crack, but I don't ride the brake all that much, and mine still cracked. I would bet the cracking is occuring because of the repeated hot/cold cycles that a stuntbike rotor goes through. Heat a peice of metal up and cool it off enough times, and it will eventually crack.

ive done it, just notice it on the gixxer, i have been using way too much brake from having my idle so high, changed from HH(garbage) back to normal ebc, was rocking O's like a champ

good call the piun is bent and not alowing the pads to reopen fully thanks for the help:YEAH
