throw in an extra steel plate... I'm serious
On f4's (not "i") that i've seen (mine included), the clutch plate stack is just barely thick enough for the clutch to engage even when the plates are brand new. Put in an extra steel and... problem solved.

1. why do you ask for help when you question everyone anyway. The end play adjustment does not do even close what the adj on the pearch does.
2. I said aftermarket clutches come apart and you disagreed with me on that too!!!
I tried given you dumb *** help because i felt bad for be a D*ck... your not even worth me tryn to help you. If you wanted help you wouldn't keep second guessing everyone and arguing.

When you say everything is new you did replace the following:
Fiber Plates
Steel Plates
Clutch Springs
Does your clutch basket have big notches in it? (they would be in the groves where you slid your plates in). I had this on my 900RR and it was causing the Clutch operation to be stickey and slip under high load. this is caused by heavy use of the "Clutch" method of getting the front wheel up.
You can take the Basket out and use a file to smooth off all the notches, this will make the clutch a little sloppy but will fix your problem (If its notches causing it)...
You should adjust the internal Clutch adjustment like others have said or at least check to ensure its not causing the problem...other wise your just wasting your time looking at everything else.

Re: mother ****ing clutch....
Hmmm i'll have to try that with my bike.. The endplay. Cause i'd put on a a new clutch lever and the clutch wouldn't catch. I'd turn the dial all the way in and still same effect.. I need to remember to check that **** in 10 months LOL
Re: mother ****ing clutch....
I'm just wondering what it costs to have the clutch done by a professional at a bike shop? By the time you logged your first post and did all the work, troubleshooting, wasting time on here with the drama posts, internet fighting, and your clutch is still slipping.......so you still can't ride? For me.......if I don't know what he hell I'm doing.........just pay a pro who does this kind of job everyday. They have to guarantee the parts and labor.........and it's done in a day. I'll be out riding, good luck to ya.
What's your time worth anyway??
