Knocking

My bike starts and sounds like its running fine until you try to go.... But I ran it one day when it was low on oil, and when I noticed it was being robbed of power I went ahead and put oil in... but this time I think the damage was done because of my stupidty. Now if I try to ride it and keep in midn it has full oil, it barely goes no matter what gear i'm in.. it's completely robbed of power and making a loud knock.

What could I do to fix this? Do I need to buy a whole new motor if so does anyone have one for sale any year 250 will work...

Just throw the pos away. The amount of money you'll spend replacing the motor will be more than the bike is worth when is done.

sounds like you fried a main or crank bearing. engines toast. see if you can find a replacement CHEAP!

Thats what I'm trying to do I was supposed to get an engine from that guy on here and even offered to pay him but he just stopped talkign to me and everything... Sucks

that blows bro! i thought you already HAD the new motor from him and that was what is in your bike right now. try him again and offer to pay him again, might get it cheap if you can get ahold of him!!!

check the motorcycle salvage yards as well.
Sometimes you can latch on to one decent.

Don't forget ebay.

Me, Alex and Mason got Kelm Spreaders on LOCK! gotta use your legs AND arms to keep em straight! LOL

I'll try to get ahold of that guy and offer him some money... I'm supposed to go down to Woo's before I ship and ride, but I've got nothing to ride - I'm stunting now on my buddies Gixxer 6 and learning rear brake on that but I can't do things I can do on my 250 on the gix.
