alright i have a real slight tapping sound comin from the front... not really sure what it could be sometimes it does it sometimes it doesnt... is it normal... i think that it might be a small exhaust leak maybe. like i said its real soft you can barely hear it but i can and it drives me nuts... also sometimes when i gas it it doesnt throttle up as fast as normal kinda like its bogging down... any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.... thanx

 

how manny miles.. and have you droped it ?

 

how many miles, how often (and the last time) did you change your oil?

could be your valve's needing to be shimmed, or your oil is shitty so your cam chain tensioner isn't working right, causing slap in the chain. (happens on my 900rr)
as far as the bogging, check your air/fuel filters, sticky throttle cables/linkages, spark plug condition, etc.

throttle position sensor gets dirty... yamaha tick is normal. just be happy u don't have a kawi lol!
