905 cage is stuck, help

I pancaked a 12 last season and my cage shifted to the right. Anyway, as I went to pull off the cage over the winter to change the oil filter and **** I noticed one bolt was stripped, one bolt would not budge, and one bolt I could not get to as the hole in the end of the cage tube bent shut enough that I cant get a socket in there. What is the best way to get this thing off? I have access to a sawzall so I plan on cutting it off but how am i going to get the bolt that wont budge out? if anyone has had this problem(im sure some of you have) please give me some tips. thanks

Re: 905 cage is stuck, help

yeh i figured the best bet is to cut it off, but let me try to explain what i think the problem will be. i cut it off but then I still have some of the tubes sticking out because I cant get the one bolt out. How would i go about getting rid of that? just grind it down as much as i can?

btw, if anyone knows someone selling a left side passenger peg assembly for an 02 954, please PM me. thanks

the back most bolt wont budge. the front right bolt is stripped. the front left bolt is the one with the hole that bent closed enough that i cant get the socket in. the bottom bolt is fine.

edit. does anybody know if an f4i, 900rr, or any other cbr passenger peg will fit a 954? i know the 929 will

sawzall the cage off, grind whatever you have to in order to access the bolts, TONS of penetrating lube. Be careful getting these bolts out, your motor is all aluminum so its really soft metal. Just keep trying to work penetrating lube down under the head of the bolt.
