F4I Brake Light/Wiring Help

Anyone know where the brake light relay is for a 02 F4I, and how to test it?

I bought a bike from Argos that was looped, and the whole tail was ripped off. I am trying to rewire the brake light to take through inspection.

I can get the running lights and blinkers to work, but I can't get the brake light to work when the pedal/lever is pushed.

Any help?

step on it really hard and see what happens. Seems really simple but i had the same problem and it worked. Does the light come on when the front brake is pulled??

Nope, can't get the light to light up more when anything is pulled, hard or not.

The light works, its lit, but it doesn't get brighter when the lever or pedal is depressed.

I got the manual, it says to do a continuity check at the lever. Im gonna try that later.

Is there even a relay, the manual mentions nothing about that.

If there is a relay it is one of the ones ont he right side of the tail. Trace the wire back and check for continutiy.

The wires go into the computer before they hit any sort of relay.

Re: F4I Brake Light/Wiring Help

have you tried adjusting the rear brake switch yet (its adjustable).... there is no relay for the brake light, only for the turn signals.

There is no relay? You sure? So it is only wiring?

Good.

That means my wiring is probably fcuked up. Im gonna have to go over it with the schematic i guess, and a meter.
