Nags, how much fork oil do i need to put in the stock f4i frontfork? i got some 15w like you suggested, some new stock brake pads and some new lines.. i did 75metres from a 45metre approach today

 

has anyone converted the rr headlights to fit on an f4i?? links please or jus some info..

 

02 f4i i turn the key on and everything works but the fuel injection doesent turn on and the starter doesent do anything. headlight horn etc works. please help

check the starter solenoid fuse first. it's a 30 amp that is on the starter solenoid under the seat. easy to check that.

 

all fuses checked i got rid of the bank sensor ( tied the outside wires together) and still nothing. im lost and need help how do you check relays? i guess thats all i can check now.

 

check your clutch switch and your kick stand switch. if they go bad it'll cause the fuel pump to not kick on.

 

would you believe it was the stupid kill switch

 

..don't tell me you had the kill switch set to the OFF position!?

 

mine is doing same thing. everything works it turns over just no fuel. i have check: kill switch, 30amp main, 10amp sub, fuel cut relay, ran power straight to pump and it works? im gonna go back and check everything over and check bypassed tip, it just didn't come back on after i got home from riding?

 

we've all done it tho.. maybe not to that extreme of checking fuses and **** but hahahahahahaha.

 

thats what happens when you have 3 people working on the bike.....that **** pissed me off! The switch was on but the wire wasn't connected anymore.

 

what kind of steering damper you have on your F4i, also I have a 929 front end will a GPR stabilizer made for an f4i fit?

 

the stabi will fit, u just need to get the 929 mounts.. I think mounts gof or like 90 bucks.. But they're not the same mounts.

 

has anyone heard of putting 05-06 gsxr1000 exhaust on an f4i, i read wher some one had done it and then on ebay i seen a pipe for tha gix and the guy said it would fit an f4i. well i hav an 06 gsxr 1000 and an 03 f4i an the exhaust are simialr in bends but the f4i has an extra bend right at the header the the gix doesnt?

alright cool!! i like the look but im just tryn to get ideas now and i hav a stock gix pipe thats been layn around since about a week after i got the bike, i just got the f4i bout 5 days ago, and paln on learning a lil w it, since my 1000 is stretched and lowered
