I cut my hose at the airbox plugged the hole and left it then I ran the hose from the crankcase down the side of the bike so it spills oil out the side of the frame. Its like the pcv valve as mentioned before but I just made a coffee filter cover for the end of the hose.
anyone have pics of this?

Re: -----F4i THREAD-----

Ok i just got my f4i the other day. Right now it's stripped down to the frame so i can paint it. anyway, I won a 929 front end on ebay for $109.00 :YEAH . and ive ordered the renthal super lows. my question is, since im using the dirt bars on a 929 front end, is it going to make the bike sit higher in the front end because im not running the fork tubes as far up in the tripple (like the stock f4i setup)?

and thanks for the cct info. I ordered taht ***** today also.
Is the oil pickup really needed on a honda? I had it on my gsxr but i thought hondas didnt have the oil starvation problem.

It is also for the f4i. Spill your f4i hard enough on the leftside and you will have tons of oil in your airbox.

Re: -----F4i THREAD-----

I dropped mine on the left and let it sit for a minute or two... then when I picked it up and started it it blew thick smoke for a couple minutes.

That's the one and only time it's done that though.

it won't sit higher. the 929 front end is designed to sit with the forks flush on top.

how did you get that **** for 109$? i've been stalking ebay for a front end forever now.

i wound up needing a front rim. My f4i rim had a crack in it. And after seeing what rims are going for i decided to look for the 929/954 front end to swap. I noticed that one was way low with 20 minutes left. I bumped the guy with high bid at 15 seconds to go. and won it :YEAH I still didnt think the guy would let it go for that. but i got the tracking number yesterday. Now i just need a front rim for that and im set.

cut wires going to it, i think ti's the outside 2 wires you connect together and you're in business. once you cut them, turn the bike on and touch the 2 outside wires together, if you hear the fuel pump then that's it. i'd have to look at mine to see, but i'm almost certain it's the outside 2 wires...i've done so many different bikes it's hard to remember which was which.

Re: -----F4i THREAD-----

Here ya go brotha... this setup is BULLET PROOF. Both my factory mounts on top are actually completely ripped off and these hold it all in place.

Get yourself some heating duct zip ties from home depot or lowes or a heating supply store... 2 on each side goin vertical around the lower frame loops... and on around the 2 top factory mounts to keep them from slippin off the mount (if they're not already shot).

Re: -----F4i THREAD-----

^ Yeah it's pretty ugly in the pic... but they come in black too... I just got what was there cause I wanted to ride.

I have them in black on my other bike and you can't even notice them unless I point them out.
