dose anyone have any pics on how the braced up the sub frame on there 03 r6.

Run braces from pass pegs to main pegs.

i found a way to do my 01 but the pegs on the rear of the 03 bolt up diff.

.. you can do it on the left side. just twist the metal.

Get a piece of metal, and drill holes in it so it attaches at each peg bracket. And run it from the rearset to the pass peg bracket. It makes it a lot stronger.

The new bracing extends back 6 inches from the front mount, and adds a thickness of .38, for a total width now of little over 5/8's of an inch.

The lower edge in the pics actually dips down into the chanelling of the subframe.

Subframes holding up like a tank...

Yes. Cast is a pain in the ***, but as you can see...it can be done.

is there any way it can be made stronger towards the back of the bike. thats where mine broke at right behind the front seat?

can you take a pic of the whole sub frame so i can have a pic to take to the guy to try to get mine to stiffing up like that.

yea, just weld some plate to the area that needs strengthening...

Ill try to snap a pic, the sub's back on the bike in full trim now...but Ill see what I can do

thanks for help. do you think it will hold up for bar tricks and stuff like that?

Its going to do nothing but help..the sub's from Yamaha are sad, but with some bracing they hold up pretty good.
