stand ups
stand ups
I need to practice but its getting cold I am starting to mess with stand ups I have tried the staggered position it feels awkward and uncomfortable ,I feel like I have less control when standing as opposed to sitting.
It feels like it is going to loop when i attempt stand ups .Any advice?

Re: stand ups
you are not going to loop just pull to your cheat hand hold on thats coming from a real ride to die rider I do it all day I hate sitdowns stnd on pegs first get use to the feel than swithch to rear pegs **** what these fake wheelie riders say some are talking because they saw a video
Re: stand ups
I dont know what mr. "ride to die rider" is trying to tell you .. but ...
it feels different because of head postion and body support ..
you spend time programing sit down wheelies into your brain, this feeling has to do with the height of the wheelie and position of your head...
now when you go to ride a stand up what happens...
your moving your brain two - three feet above the point you just programed. so it will take time to reprogram your new head position. this will feel like your starting from scratch...
the second reason it feels weird is cuz of body support...
sit downs , your *** on the seat and your legs help support you on the bike..
stand ups- no support, you have to hang onto the bars with your arms as well as work the throttle. this makes it harder, your throttle hand has two major things to do, hang on and control...
just practice like the other guys said it will click one day, rear brake will keep you from looping ... and my opinion staggard standups are easier to balance
