I know this has prolly been posted before but i want to know the BEST. not the half assed way..but the BEST and most realible way to strengthen my subframe for a 12 bar. and it woudl be cool if i could get some pics...

The best way to do it is to box the trussels from the inside with some plates of aluminum

umm i heard somewhere , i think on here, to get an 03 1000 subframe and work from there,its supossedly stronger and bolts up, correct me if im wrong

I've posted up a few times, if ya don't think that my subframe is good enough for what you've got planned, it is. I've really nailed the ground a few times with the corner of the 12bar and it holds up fine so far, I've already put up pics so you can just search for them, I don't have them here on this computer.

Here are few pics of what I was talking about... This is my fabricators bike so his is heavily modifid for stuff like seat standers so that his tail section doesn't break so easily from standing all over it.

holy ****....thats thats alot of work. i thought these were aluminuim

Yeah they are made of aluminum and all the bracing on there is aluminum too.
