Stand-Up Wheelies

I ride a 01 F4i I just got my 1st gear wheelies down where I can ride them all the way through first. Haven't gotten to the 2nd gear yet but still working. My question is what is the best technique for stand-up wheelies. Should I stand before I pop it up or get in to my wheelie then try. been trying both with minor success. any tips?

i learned by standing up at the same time i am boucing the front end up on my 600. that helps you get the front end up especially on a 600. if you feel comfortable enough and stable enough, when your doing sitdowns try standing up. if you are at high speed be prepared for the wind to kinda blow you back a little.

Good advice from people! Heres some from me. Don't wheelie when there's on coming traffic. Here's what I tell the news guys that ride with me. " There's a million wheelies to do in your life you F**K one up bad enough you'll never ride another one. Good luck be safe and patent.

For me.....I stand up first then bounce it. I found standing after the hoop is up shifts the weight too much when you are first learning. Just my
