Re: r6 gearing

yes you will need to. i just bought the package from phil at motoheaven.com i believe it was 150 dollars for both sprockets and an rk chain 520 conversion. i however dont recomend the 520 the sprockets wear out super fast, your better off keeping the stock width chain.

Re: r6 gearing

he is right though you should def only use gearing as a tool to enhance your stunting not as like a magic pill to make you a stunter cuz if u cant do it on stock you cant do it geered either. you asbolutely dont have to change the geering to do slow stuff on that bike. i however did like the difference it made after being stock for awhile.

Re: r6 gearing

my f4i is -1/+2 and i can creep it at like half a mile an hour.... gearing is like what dude said, a tool to enhance your riding.. not something that makes learning easier

It sounds like you need to get better at finding the sweet spot! Just keep practicing and you'll get it bro!! Oh ya, I'm + 20 in the rear, it's not hyway friendly at all!

need to be sensitive with the brake.. there are times where you will have 0 pressure on it.. it doesn't flip back real fast or anything.. just tap her, be sensitive.. just keep her up real high, and what's your idle at?

Re: r6 gearing

+1 stock gearing

Gearing does'nt make the rider.

Throttle and Brake control makes the rider.
