Stuntin a KTM
Stuntin a KTM
Another random thought I had...
Does anyone stunt a KTM? and I dont mean for ***** and giggles...I mean seriously stunt it, ride out and kill the street on it. I mean I was lookin at pics of the KTM 950 supermoto and 625 SMC supermoto and they look like they would be hell of alotta fun to stunt. With a little mod to the seat I can see sum one hitting cardwell-style spreaders on one. I remember I flipped through a review of the 950 and the test rider was hitting a nasty stoppie on it

Re: Stuntin a KTM
Bud of mine...he's since sold it, but that was cuz he needed money, not cuz he wanted to.....and he is state side. Got a deal he couldn't resist on the bike...2 sets of plastic, aluminum sub, etc.....prolly shouldn't have been doing any stunting on it....lot of expensive stuff to replace if he dumped it.
Anyway, I know he only had it out a few times before he sold it...so here is the result from one of those few times....and yep, it's stateside!

Re: Stuntin a KTM
I know 2 guys stunt KTM...one is pro, and one is crazy and rides 640 I think and he'll probably reply himself if he sees this thread...I know pro rider from Hungary that stunts 950, his nick on SL is Becman.
Re: Stuntin a KTM
I used to stunt a KTM but now moving over to a 636 or f4i as soon as the KTM's sold...
They're good to stunt, good fun, just don't break the wheels because they're fukin expensive to fix

Re: Stuntin a KTM
HI Guys!
I only read this thread, because I don't have much time to browse the internet.
Yes, I am riding a 990 SuperDuke KTM, which is an awesome bike, anybody says anything. V2 engine, with enormous power, more than you really need for stunting. The 100 Nm torque make stunting a lil' bit complicated, but with some experience, you can handle the bike easy. Easy to stoppie and wheelie.
Some trick is really thgough to do, because the idle rpm is not so continous.
But anyway, if you would like to stunt a 950 supermoto, I suggest to ride it. I rode a lot this bike, and find awesome. Easy to handle, flexible power output, and has got no complicated computer management, because the carburetor.
It is an other thing, that the part are expensive in the US, here it is not so serious.
