heres the deal, I am loosing my health insurance and I can not afford to possibly get hurt. I am going to take it easy for a while and stop stunting until I can land a job and get picked up on a health plan.....

2003 954RR (red/black) Less than 6000 miles.
Has Powers crash cage and FI 12 bar (just put on)
The bike was down but its not bad at all, I had posted a pick of the bike under a diffrent thread a few weeks ago after I fixed it. The bike is Turn Key and go with a 100% Clear title. Everything is straight (frame, subframe, wheels, ect.), motor runs Very Strong with Low miles.

Damage:
Tail has been cut to fit the 12 bar and has a crack on the left side.
The upper cowl is missing a few tabs and has a few scratches.
Gas tank has a small dent that I touched up and going down the road isn't all that noticable.
Windscreen is scratched.
Brake lever ball end broke.
Passenger seat has a tear in it.

Thats about all that theres wrong with the bike. You could probably have it fixed for minimal with parts off of Ebay. Both side fairings are MINT, everything is straight............

I realize that most everyone on this site is looking for Cheap stunters so maybe this isn't the best place to advertise but.... book value on the bike is 7350.00 and I just bought a powers cage and FI 12 bar. The bike really is far more nice that just a stunt beater. I am looking to try to get $6300.00 for the bike set up as is.

Thats my whole point dude, you can fix it back to MINT for dam cheap. Thats why I stated "everyone here is looking for a cheap stunt bike".......If you are looking for a POS stunt bike than this bike isn't for you.

I am willing to negotiate or take offers, but only if they are resonable. I am not going to just give away 7300 dollar bike with 6k miles just b/c of a few plastic pieces that can be replaced for less than $500.00.

 

Youd probally be better off fixing it for $500 and hitting up Ebay man

 

Yep...fix it up and sell it as a mint bike. Ebay the stunt tail, cage, bar etc...

That or ask $4500 as it is.

I have an 03 that has 1500 miles on it, looks like it never left the showroom, and I've been havin a hard time all summer gettin $6500 for it.

I'd get yourself ready to get $5500 at best, as is. Maybe $6000 if you get the details fixed up and lose the stunt parts. Believe me, I just went through the same shock.

Dealer trade value right now is at $5300 for spotless low miles 03 954.

 

I just bought a 03 954 super minty for 7700 with 1k miles and Im turning it into my stunt bike I wish I knew you were selling earlier!

I totally here what you guys are saying.........I guess its just a matter of when and to who you sell the bike to. I realize that I am not going to get top dollar and I am not looking for it. I would have thought that if I throw a new tail on the bike even without the 12bar and cage I could get $5500.00...I was just figuring a new cage and bar is going to run 350-375 so I just said 6300 with the intention of negotiating......

I dont' know what the F?#& I am going to do. Probably just sell the cage and bar on ebay, fix the tail, and put it in the cycle trader and see what happens....

 

You'll definetly get more $$ w/out the bar and cage . Nobody looking for a nice bike wants to take a chance w/ someones stunter.

Auction the stunt parts, make it mint and you'll be much better off in the end.

 

a little off topic but kinda funny i bought my 954 5000 miles not a scratch on it for 7000 knowing very well i was gunna stunt it hehe i just wanted to be sure i was the first to abuse it lol.
