Rear brake for highway wheelies
I've been getting into the habbit of tapping the rear brake in normal second gear hwy wheelies to smooth out my tendancy to close the throttle and cause chop. Should i be using it or relying on throttle control and engine braking..while covering the brake.
Re: Rear brake for highway wheelies
on the highway you can control it either way,, you can hold a steady throttle and just tap the brake every now and then to smooth it out or you can just stay on the gas and only use the brake to keep it from looping.. Mostly i find on the highway your pretty much just locked on the throttle and just use the brake to control the height over bumps and hills..
Re: Rear brake for highway wheelies
i just use throttle control for highway ****... just cover the brake incase.. if i wanna slow it down, and drop some rpms or mph.. i mash the brake and roll the throttle on a little... just overpower the brake with the gas.. just make sure not to chop, or let off, cuz you're already on brake and u'll slam down

Yeah I do the same, except recently I've figured out how to slow down fast wheelies with tapping. It's pretty cool, I just kinda rock it a little past bp and tap it when it wants to go back farther and it slows down pretty quick.
