Are you running a dual caliper hand brake set up with MX bars?
I am thinking about changing to the street fighter style once my fairings are trashed later in the future so how long of a brake line is required on a bike if you are running a dual caliper hand brake set-up and have MX bars on your bike?
(1) How long of a brake line is required for this set up?
(2) Who do you recommend and how much would I be looking at to have one made?
Please only respond if you have had this set up before or are currently running it on your bike now. I wouldn’t want to order a line and it not work because you are just taking a guess. Thanks guys

I buy the reusable banjo fittings and the line by the foot, that way you can make the line as long or short as it needs to be. Find a bike shop that carries Earls fittings and line and make it youself, that way its the exact size.
Theres so many different setups that your going to have to order it longer if your not making it yourself, your probably not going to find the exact length. Unless you set it all up and run a piece of string or wire how the line needs to be then cut and measure that to get your line length.

Re: Are you running a dual caliper hand brake set up with MX bars?
Hey guys anyone have this set-up? JohnnyP has a good point but I need this line like yesterday and since I am in Iraq I can’t take any measurements so I thought it would just be easier to ask someone who has got this set-up already on an F4i. I am working with a machinist who is making f4i dual rear brake caliper brackets and I am trying to purchase this line for a friend who is going to install everything on his bike as soon as the brackets are ready.
how long does the line need to be?
how long does the line need to be?
