Re: Tire Change

best thing to do is hit up a badash shop, and have them mount it, cause you'll need some equipment to bust the beads, or a truck i've seen people use, then using the spoons, you can **** up the rim. get in good with a shop, then have them bust them out whenever you need a tire change.

Re: Tire Change

screw that, its easy. do a search, theres a couple theads with very good instructions on how too.

i change all mine myself, mainly becuase i usually run take-off's in the rear. i use a big *** c-clamp to break the bead then a couple of tire spoons and its a piece of cake. the trick is to use lots of soapy water.

and if your worried about scractchin ****, stop now and dont start stunting. and if its get bad, time for some spray paint and different colored rims.

Re: Tire Change

never thought of the c-clamp thing. harbor freight has the manual tire changer for cheap, once you do it a few times it's cake.

Re: Tire Change

word, good idea, but its still lots of work to bust out by yourself with no machine. Like I said, get in good with a shop, and take your rim and tires in and have them bust them out in 5 mins. Good luck, whatever works for you man!

Re: Tire Change

until i get myself a bead breaker i will keep using my shovel. get my bro to stand on one side of the rim, line the shovel up on the other side and jump on that ***** as hard as i can. usually breaks the bead 3rd attempt. the rest is easy after that. good luck.

Re: Tire Change

word.

the c-clamp sounded the best for busting the beads. that would definately work.
