the black pug on my triple clamp
the black plug in the center of my triple clamp where the bolt is has been poping out. is this normal? a problem? when it comes out i can see straight through. thanks guys

And now to actually answer your question...
Yes. That thing is there for looks. It covers a hole and makes the triple look a little cleaner. I used to laugh when my buddy that had an F4i showed up and his plug was sticking up. It was like, "Gee...wheelie today?"
Don't worry about it. Either throw it away, or keep pushing it in.
