Anyone know how to identify what year a Honda motor is?
As it says in my other thread, I just acquired a honda 929/954 stuntbike. It needs a clutch, and I want to make sure the motor is actually a 954.

If The First Five Digets Of The Moter Vin Start With (sc50e-) Then You Have A 954 Motor. I Work For A Honda Dealership. Need A Clutch Holla.

Nope. First four is SC44E?

SC44E-210001 and any number above is a 929? Ok. That means it is a 929.

This doesn't really make sense. I was tightening the cage on my bike the other day and there is "954cc" stamped right on the motor, in the cylinder area. Is my motor a 929 or a 954?

People Have Been Known To Do Some Dirty Things. Maybe Cases Are 929 And They Wanted To Make It A 954 So They Put 954 Top End On It. Anyway Who Cares It Is A Stunt Bike. Just Ride It, Beat It, And Then Get Rid Of It.
