Re: Excessive sprocket wear???

the chain I replaced with the sprocket when I went 520. Its a gold DID that i bought in march. Still looks fine, so I don't wanna replace it unless I have too. I just want a setup that lasts me at least a year. That I would be ok with.

about an inch of up and down "slack" is good...

Geared Steel has stainless sprokets for whatever bike you want in any size you need. They will last WAYYYYY longer than any other sproket.

Make sure your wheel is aligned correctly cause if it off even a little you chain will not be perfectly straight with the sproket and you'll tear sprokets up quick!

Re: Excessive sprocket wear???

I have the same issue on my 99 f4. I converted too 525 from a 530. this is my 7th or 8th sprckett in 4years aprox 20,000 miles. but they snap teeth sharpen an chip. my stocks looked great when i tookem off an they had 15,000mies on em. now i go thru theese aluminum ones bout every 4-6 months. Renthal, sunstar, vortex but front is been perfect since I changed em. (it is steel) I run 13 front 50 rear.
