How To Determine If Forks Are Bent? '04 636

I had a little mishap with a wall and I am going through the front end of the bike to see what was damaged; the thing that worries me is that the front wheel is just rubbing against the lower point where the two front fairings meet as well as the radiator shroud so it appears it was pushed back 1-2 inches. What could the possible causes of this be?

Facts:
-I could tell the triples were cocked a little bit
-I pulled the fork tubes out and they appear to be straight actually, but please give me a way to test/measure this to be sure
-The front axle came out pretty tough(maybe it's bent???)
-The wheel itself is not bent at all
-There doesn't appear to be any tweaks in the frame itself

Please give me any and all advice here so I can get this piece back to the lot! Thanks guys!

might have tucked the frame you can bring your forks to a shop and have them check them with a runout guage.

I usually just take em off and roll em like checking a pool cue. If you cant tell that way they're probably not bent enough for it to effect your riding anyway. DISCLAIMER- this advice has not been tested by the FSDR for accuracy and may lead to tank slap at 90 mph.

Thanks sdfkillz; I was thinking about dropping them off at the local suspension place to see if they were. I'll call around tomorrow to see how much they charge to do it.
