RM 250 and brake control?

anybody use 1 to learn brake control? will it give the same concept of a 50? im assuming 1st gear sitdowns? i have 1 at my disposal so if i can get somthing out of that instead of buying a 50.

I'd use it. I jumped on a KX125 the other day and hit up some coasters. Rear brake was very much like a big bike.
