dont know whats going on but this is whats happening.

bike runs great normally...

from a 636 to this new f4i first time pulling a 12 was EASY...

so i roll down the parking lot once and everything is fine and its running great.

i set it down and turn around about to 12 the other way...

ABSOLUTELY loss of power...bogging and running like crap.

i zip around normally for 2 minutes and it runs good again.

oil light did not come on

fuel was on reserve

stock gearing

manual cam chain tensioner installed to spec.

anyone else have this problem??
i didnt try again until i find out. a good buddy of mine who has one which i tried out didnt have this problem. he told me it might be gas.

 

fill yur tank up?

 

Tip over sensor?

 

I'm having a similar problem, never had it with my r6. It seems to bog out sometimes after 12'ing randomly wanting to die as well. I will come down from a 12, it will bog a bit, I'll dip the clutch, and bam, it's dead. This is on a full tank. I don't have a front end, my tipover switch is bypassed.

 

its the tip over or you need gas. lol

 

my tip over sensor was bypassed and it could be the fuel...

inolen, since youre having the same problem with a full tank its worrying me...

ill post up if it happens again tomorrow.

 

Well, I at first thought it was how I bypassed my tipover coming loose. But it's weird that it'll come down, be running, bog a bit, and then I pull in the clutch, THEN it dies. I pull in the clutch, press the starter, and it starts right back up.

Thats what I was thinking? I just recently swapped out my tank and fuel pump (but I didn't stunt it before I swapped them, but also, I didn't have any of these weird bike bogging problems, like today, I pulled in my clutch while rolling to a red light and the bike died while I was rolling). I think I'm getting a combo of crappy wiring (it sometimes shuts off when I launch it up, lol) and a bad fuel pump. I just really don't feel like changing out the fuel pump.

 

I'm gonna swap out fuel pumps with my one from my original gas tank tommorow (which I guess is good). I'll tell you how it goes.

 

hey i rode all day and after putting on my 62t along with an extra 1/2 quart of oil, the bike ran like a champ with no problems....

i think it was the gas being low...

 

yea tell me cause i might need to change mine...hard part to find
