Do you have a stock clamp that you drilled or a fullthrottleinc. clamp?

stock clamp off a 400ex - if you are suggesting to space the clamp up.......i was thinking of that but i would have to space it up over 2.5 inches and that would make the bars too high to do any type of manuvers. i think i may just get an ohlins factory mount damper??????

I have DB bars with a GPR.........ghetto rigged it myself, but will be buying a custom fullthrottle set-up if I ever get the money for it!!!!! I cut the center out of my renthalsand mounted them around my damper. works alright as long as you find a way to keep the risers from twisting....has worked so far for me. I used the risers off of my 400EX also, but would use a riser with a flatter bottom and about another 1/4" rise if you can afford it.

I posted the same two pics in another thread, but I'm pretty excited they have actually been loading!!!!!!!

Re: how to install scotts damper with handlebars

I'm gonna get the fullthrottle set-up as soon as I get the money.....Bill is gonna make me one with a custom mount for my GPR!!!!! I did have a problem a lil while back with the left side twisting on me when rolling stoppies and pullin up wheelies....I took everything back to the triple and redid it putting JB Weld between the triple and a washer then between the washer and the riser, then tightened everything down.....nice and solid now but we'll see if it lasts.....the washer was for a little extra rise to clear the suspension adjustments.
