Streetfightering Question?

alright, so i crushed my upper in again. bent the upper support bracket in and it just took the plastic with it. its the second time ive done it after stalling the bike and it landing on the cage and rolling halfway over. it was easy enough to fix but im thinking about streetfightering it becuase ive been lucky enough so far not to smash the light. my question is on f4/f4i you need to lower the forks in the tripples right? how much does that effect the handling of the bike and in what way?

Re: Streetfightering Question?

you don't have to do anything but rip your front end off

Re: Streetfightering Question?

Dont put MX bars on it dude.......you ride a streetbike, not a dirt bike.

Heres a tip for the 905 rollover problem......do a google search for delrin. You should be able to find lengths of 1" diameter delrin, and theyre pretty cheap for a length of it. then stick it in the forwardmost upper motormount bolt. cut to a length where itll bottom out against the bolt, and stick out about 2 inches. Bingo, easy and affordable sliders

Re: Streetfightering Question?

thats a pretty good idea. i was thinking about mabey going to a welding shop or something and have em weld on like a 1-2 piece of pipe sticking out somewhere on the top support but that sounds like it would work and alot easier. and i like the dirtbike bar look. ill think about it though, im gonna order a headlight toamrrow anyways.

Re: Streetfightering Question?

you can do the streetfighter thing without going to dirt bike bars.

And anyway, with f4/f4i's you can just turn the bars out and get the same effect because they have a good rise stock

you dont lower the front end you raise it up a couple inches so the bars will clear it actually gives you a lil clearance for mousetrapin but i wouldnt go with the mx bars i had em for awhile and went back to the clip ons and my bikes a fighter
