How to dent in a F4i Tank?? HELP!!
Re: How to dent in a F4i Tank?? HELP!!
The phone book method is just laying the book on the tank, center over where you want the dent...and you go to town. You have to move it around a little and beat other areas if you want a super clean dent.

where did you start off denting the tank? we tried my buddy's f4i tank and it creased a few times and then cracked. we opened the gas cap and saw a metal 'bar' going staight back right along the crease
Do you start banging there and work around? Re: How to dent in a F4i Tank?? HELP!!
i started denting mine on the left and ride sides of the gas cap, then dented in the front... after the cap was leanin forward i started workin on the back until it got how it is... i had like 1 small crease but that was because the bike was laid down and had a dent on the side
seemed to work well, only took like 30 minutes of poundin
maybe i got lucky because i hear a lot of horror stories with these tanks
