929 Rear brake ??
On my 01 929, the rear brake has always been under par compared to other 929/954's. Nobody else that I ride with stunts, so they all blame it on dragin the brake for 12's, highway wheelies and what not. Well the other day I went to rock it up and the brake peddle went all the way down and there was nothing there, tried bleeding it, still nothing. 1st question is I got a 954 master cylinder coming off ebay because that was cheaper than my bike shop to even look at it, will it work on my 929, and does anybody know if this will fix the problem
Re: 929 Rear brake ??
drain all the fluid out, change with dot 4 or better, if it still gets like that then change the line with a steel one. chances are its not your master cylinder but the fluid in the rubber line getting too hot and expanding the rubber line.

You Are On The Brakes Too Much, I Had The Same Problem, Its Called Brake Fade. Also Could Be A Damaged Rotor, Pads Press Where The Disc Is Warped And You Have No Pressure, Or Air In The Line. Bleed It In Sequence, Mc Banjo, Caliper Banjo, Then The Bleeder Valve
