Hey guys,

Just thought I'd see if anyone has yet got any of the remaining disks to come out from the series. The first 2 on wheelies have been out for a while and their web site still says coming soon for the rest. I've had my box set on order since Dec 04 so am curious how long it will take for me to get the rest of the disks. Anyone with any news on this post up

 

Hey how was the advanced wheelies?

 

That's the one I was most interested in as it had circles in it and there's very few people around this part of the globe doing them so getting advice & tips ain't easy. For that it was dope.

 

I bought the first disc as soon as it was available to buy and was momentarily tempted to get the whole set but better judgement told me to hold off. They sold the "From Dummies" sets on the premise that all the videos were done and that it was just a matter of duplication before they would be shipped. That was well over a year ago. Then it was announced that only the first disc was produced and that the others were yet to be made. Shady tactics if you ask me but I believe that you'll get them all eventually.

 

I saw it at a friends house. They address circles with a ton of detail. Also cover slow wheelies, coasters, etc. I personally thought it was an excellent video.

 

Yeah I know they also had some issue with the people who make those f#cken computer books trying to sue over the use of the "dummies" name. That's why they are called Level X now.
I ain't too worried that I won't get them but more interested if they have released more as the website has had no updates for ages and there's no e-mail addy or links on it for inquiries.
Anyone on here that knows Kyle or Matt can you get us some inside info on when this **** will be finished up? I know both of em post up on SL too, so likewise, if you guys read this, spill the beans!

 

Thanks for making this post. I've been waiting on the stoppie video for a long time now. I also ordered my set almost a year ago. The advanced wheelie video is AWESOME. Very informative.

I've had my set on order for over a year now... still only the first 2 vids.. what ****'s me off is that they can find time to make OTHER video's that aren't pre-sold, but yet can't find the time (so it seems) to make the video's that they have already sold

if ya want, you can come out an i'll give ya some pointers on some things.. HOPEFULLY i'll be gettin my bike back sometime before the end of the year, so i'll have something to ride sometime.

 

i would....BUT:
a)i dont want to spend money on something i may never receive
2)give money to people who "screw" other people over
d)sharing is fun
