Maxxis Tires

I've searched and I couldn't find a thread so here goes. Does anyone use Maxxis tires and if so, what is your opinion of them. I know a guy who says he can get 'em cheap, and I need tires, but I need to know what I'm getting before I go and buy them..........Any information would be greatly appreciated...........Thanks............Free C............Major without a Major.

Re: Maxxis Tires

I bought a rear rim for my 929 and it came with a maxxis. I ride with 20 in the rear tire and on a regular day, with normal street riding, you're fine. On the highway, the tire feels like it's flat. I have no confidence in turns with that tire. As a stunt tire, it's fine but for the twistied, I wouldn't even think about it.

Re: Maxxis Tires

I've been using maxxis tires for about a year and a half. I love them and all my freinds stared using them too. They always grip and they last twice as long as some tires I've had. Very smooth feeling for stunting and turns with the right pressure. I'm sold! hope this helps
