600rr sprocket advice.

i have a 600rr and im thinkin about gettin a sprocket,..

im mainly into standups and id like to ride them slower. but id still like my bike to be able to go 100mph.


what size should i go with?

after that size.. whats the top speed of your bike? still able to hit 100?

probably not but he can definately still hit 100, my highspeed days are over, i almost died twice last week, almost clipped a van goin 160 and almost ran over a f*cking armadillo at night, parking lot from now on.....

i try to keep in mind how tall the gearing is on the RR as it is, 16-43. the R6 comes 16-48 stock, 5 teeth is quite a difference, and i still went to 15-48 when i had my R6. I got the 05 RR now and already ordered my 520 kit, 1down3up with 15-46, it will help, i was gonna go 48 but imma see how much of a difference this is first.

^^^ Yes, but its all relative.. Otherwise one bike would be much faster than the off the line or top end... which isn't really the case. Even with two great riders on both bikes, given equal displacement and a straight road, its going to be a tight matchup.

The gearing may be taller on the 600rr, but I would imagine the transmission is designed accordingly.
