running behind bike...

what up... i might be trying this some time soon, and am wondering when your doing a seat stander and bring it back, are you guys pulling in the clutch when running behind the bike or using handbrake... in my mind i see using the handbrake way easier, but not sure on how everyone else is doing this... and when i say running behind the bike, i mean when its right above the 12 bar, but not touching... and then jump back on the bike...

any info appreciated,
-bobble

Re: running behind bike...

did it today for the 2nd time. used the h/b . i actually had to kinda push the bike up off the bar. if you get the h/b start off by putting bike back on the bar hit the brake a little and push the bike off the bar and go from there. worked for me for learnin it.

Re: running behind bike...

you can do it with or without a handbrake. Dont use the clutch cause it will just go on the bar or the front will drop like a rock and the bar might get ya.

Re: running behind bike...

um yah dont use ur h/b and especially dont use it with ur idle turned up or its really really gay..turn ur idle down as low s itll go so u have maximum engine brake, and use only that....clutch it up to the "floating" spot, and let it float backwards as soon as u u kno its comin back and not guan come foreward jump off run and push ...as it comes foreward jump to seat/spreader, w.e....if u jump back onto the bike to early ull flaot back onto the bar...timing is everything....DO NOT USE THE HB, HB=GARBAGE
