Does anyone know what this indicator light is for on the F4i guages? Mine lights up every once in awhile when i get the bike back close to twelve.

 

oil light....duh if it comes on during 12's

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but there is an oil pressure symbol underneath the indicator on the LCD display that I thought was supposed to indicate low oil pressure.

 

not sure wat the symbol represents but i kno the red light is def an oil light...fully positive.

 

ok heres what it means.... the red light is to get your ATTENTION! but it actully means your motor is NOT getting oil. not low oil etc, it means its not pullin oil.

 

right...so like when ur on idle

 

it means no oil pressure

my f4is oil light has came on a few times after ive dropped it on its side..should i shut it off for a few mins when it comes on or what

 

no as soon as u tip it upright and the light goes off ur fine

 

Yeah, it comes on sometimes when i rock it back close to the tail on the idle, but it goes off a few seconds after i come back down. I guess I should try over filling the oil a little more. Or pay $99 for that little clip from stuntex.
