Re: Standin up HELP
you just gotta get used to it..
standing up is a weird feeling to overcome, you just gotta grab ur nuts and say *** it and do it. once you do it the first few times, it feels much more natural..
ps try it staggered first

Re: Standin up HELP
I've got regular standups on lock.... but every time I try staggered the bike wants to come up funny... off to the left or right (which ever foot has the most weight on it).
With the regular standers I lock my legs and sort of grip the rear cowl... but I can't get the weight distribution w/ one leg bent and staggered.
Is there a trick to where to put your weight or how to hold your legs while commin up?

Re: Standin up HELP
I lock both my legs in SS as well (left foot on passenger peg), it usually wants to go off to the left, so I just lean to the right a little to counter it. I have no problems going straight.
As for the original poster, try putting one or both of your feet on the passenger pegs, it feels so much more comfortable once you get the bike up. Let us know how it works out.

Re: Standin up HELP
When I first learned them staggered, I always started drifting to the right. After a while I just got used to bringing it up with my weight even. I still drift off to the right but it happens less than it used to.

Yeah i remember first trying stand ups and the sucky part was drifting left or right. just like a frickin sit down it takes doing it a buncha times, untucking your ***** from between your legs, and getting used to the new **** with your weight even. just think.. at least ur past the gay azz 1 foot off the ground sit down wheelies.
