Learning tail scrapers, Stand-Up or Sit-Down?

Did you guys learn slow 12 o'clocks, or tail scrapers by sitting down or standing up? also I feel more comfortable trying them without a 12 bar, is that the way to go? Thanks for any help.

not to be redundant, but when u stand up, do you have both feet on the front pegs, or one front one back? thanks

I learned slow **** by sitting down but its easier standing up. Im attempting to scrape right now and feel more comfortable sitting down. To each his own.

I learned everything sitting down first (scraping,coasters,no-handers) cuz after you got 'em wired, standing up is a breeze.

I learned sitting down also, althrough everybody told me it was easier standing up (and it is!) but I was feeling more comfortable sitting down. first couple of time I scraped sitting down I also crashed, I also think it easier to control the bike standing up
