Just from reading the forums, everyone is busting 04 gixxer 600/750 subs.....These new bikes are brittle. Are they that cheap cast white aluminum??? (Like the birdcages???)

You have to take the propper precautions and brace **** up. Suzuki and all other manufactures do not design these bike to be laid back on the tails or droped on their sides. They all were ment to be driven on two wheeles. so if you don't want **** snappin reinforce it first.

Re: subframe broke on 04 gsxr 750

The subframes on the 04 600/750 suck so bad it's just straight rediculus. there is a guy selling "race subframes" for the 04 on ebay for $225, and it looks pretty good.

By the way, I need a subframe for my 04 GSXR 6, if anyone has one.

Re: subframe broke on 04 gsxr 750

yea I just looked at them again, they don't look that great unless you could get the guy to make one out of steel, I don't think it would be much better.

Re: subframe broke on 04 gsxr 750

Meo was over here last night working on his bike and I took some pics of his supports for a guy who pm'd me.... These work. I dont want to argue with those who dont believe it, if you dont than dont build it. but if you want to keep your sh*t from breaking build this.

Use 1/4"X1" flat steel stock from home depot.
Use 5/8" allthread from with some flat and cut washers to bolt through your swingarm pivot bolt. Put a bolt through the side to the passenger peg mount and 2 through the 12 bar and into the subframe. Weld 1 piece of steel from 1 side to the other underneath. Just build it to look like the pics, and your troubles are over....

Good luck
