Wheelie help

I know theres a million "I dont know how to wheelie" threads but mines a little more specific. My 04 R6 is stock geared, I have a K&N filter and a micron slip on. I dont know if its just mine or all bikes, but mine is just so damn quirky in 1st and 2nd. Plus the bike runs shittier than stock, I've ordered a PCIII but still waiting for that. So because the tuning is off the low-mid end is just kinda unpredictable. I know the PC will help smooth it out a bit but I was wondering if I change the gearing is it going to make it that much harder? I mean, isnt it going to make what it already is worse? Should I keep working with the stock gearing and change it later or is that not the case?

Re: Wheelie help

you're not givin' it enough gas. either that, or you're 'grabbin' the clutch instead of slippin' it when u clutch it up. an 04 r6 will come up smooth with the right clutch slip and throttle control. reeeeeeeal smoooooooooth. work the bike, dont let the bike work you. smooooooooth. <-like that dude
