Re: f4i wheel

were u in our shop dude? we just did that...anyway...yes it will work. you don't have to do any modifications to the hub, but you'll need to get the spacer and bearings to fit. be sure not to get a cheap spacer as the aftermarket spacer you'll need will have a little end play, so you need one made out of some heavy duty material. take the spacer out of a harley wide glide...it'll work. thing is harley is standard measurement, and your honda is metric...thus the end-play. fits right in though. good enough for my MMI instructor to sign off on.

That sounds good to me. Harley glide? whats that a bike or a wheel or a part?? How much does it cost? the 929 954 wheels are freakin expensive right now.

Re: f4i wheel

Instead of doing all that cant you just use the 929 bearings, collar, and spacers? You can buy all that stuff pretty cheap at ronayers.com.

Re: f4i wheel

F4i Rim WILL NOT WORK on the 954 929 front axle if you try to change the bearings they do not fit. The outside Diameter is bigger on the 929/954 bearings. I have personaly tried this. The rotors do bolt right on.

I really didnt think they would work, i know i needed to change the bearings, spacers, axle tube... I had a whwwl i got from a guy that said it was a 929 wheel and it wasnt. I almost got it to work but same problem, bearing diameter wasnt the same, bearings werent lined up when i put the axle through. Thanks for saving me the trouble Matt.
