I thought FI cages don't have anything going though the bike. Are they copying mxd and 905 now? haha

but yeah, i think you could loose that tank and not hurt anything. My tank has had a hole in it for a while now and everything's fine

Re: overflow tank?? where can i put it?

i have a99 zx9 and the coolant setup is the same as yours ,i got a 905 cage on it and it reqired going through the same engine mount bolt ,so i just tucked the resevoir in front of the cage,at first it was leaking out of the overflow ,like a constant drip ,so i put a bolt in the tube with some tape, but the resevoir is there to be an overflow a vent for fluid if the radiator overheats, and if the radiator needs it vice versa, so i wouldnt eliminate it ,just relocate it the angles not that crucial, hope it helps..

Just used heavy duty clear silicone that jug really has no pressure in it so it holds up fine.
