Re: 929 Idle

ANother GREAT thread guys--thanks. I just got my 900rr cable in the mail today--ripped my bike apart and found the mount screw--its between both throttle cables right next to the pulley. Now the FUN part was threading that ***** in--I had to dremal a bit of the threads off to get it to fit because the head was in the way of the rubber cable. Then after dropping the washer between the throttle bodies about 1000 times, I actually got it to thread and I started my bike up to test it--idle went up SOLID--**** is MINT--Now I just have to test it out at the lot--I can't WAIT!! No hander time!!!!!!!!! Thanks again for all the pics and tips----Alvin

Re: 929 Idle

you guys are all wrong about that 900rr idle screw i did that and my idle still raced around your idle ackts like that because of the valve in you airbox and the one in the exhaust what i did was compleatly take the valve out of the airbox and just un hook the cables frome the one in the exhaust no it works like a champ besides it cheaper to do that any way trust me it works

Re: 929 Idle

That 900 idle screw works fine on my bike.

and I didn;t take anything out. I know alot of guys that have done this mod. I think the servo motor fluctuating is a 929 deal. Didn't happen on my 954 or a F4i.
