Need help new to bikes

Okay heres the thing im turing 16 in a few weeks and taking a bike course. And I wanted to buy a good beginer bike but I dont know much about them. I was looking at buying a new ninja 250 but I dont want to be board after a few months of riding it. I have a limit on how much I can spend my limit is 3000. And plz dont tell me to get somthing the insurance will kill me. And please give me some genral info on bikes thanks for you time.

any 600 will be fine and you can find a buch of them for sale in the clasified ads on here for the price that you are lookin for. dont get the 250 cause you will get bored. im not saying the 250 is bad but you will want to upgrade from it real quick. good luck

i started on a honda 600 F2 that im still riding. As long as you take your time learning and dont get to crazy with the throttle (these things are pretty damn quick when your new to bikes) you'll be alright. Honda F2/F3's have gotta be some of the toughest bikes out there if you ask me.

I paid 3400 for mine (pic in avatar is from when i bought it) it had 21,000 miles on it at the time. Bikes are pretty spendy around here so im sure you can pick up an early F2/F3 for even cheaper.

yeah, id get an f2/f3. Awesome and very durable. much better than same year 600's from other manufacturers.
