i just bought a 2000 zx6r need info on if i need to get an extended oil pick up tube for this bike to do 12s

i dont know. i would add 1/2 quart more oil at least.

 

I had a 00 zx6r and sold it and got FI 929...... if you go 1\2 over and park it scrape whatever oil gets in the air box and then you have a zx6r mosquito killer for the next 20 minutes. smokin exhaust not a good way to attract attention. Loved it for highway stuff but for parking lot I hated it.

 

my zx7 is more than a half quart over,its sat on my bike for a few mins and never did smoke...but im not sure about a zx6

 

You're all talking about a half of quart liter or a quart of liter??
If yes it means you're talking about 125ml or 250ml... Do I understood it wrgiht?
I'm asking cause I'm not sure and also in USA you have those galons and in alomost whole europe ewerything is in liters so...
