i just bought a mxd track cage. still waiting on it to arrive. anyone have one that can tell me how their product is???

 

ive only heard good things about them, ive spoke to some people who deal with the owner and he seems like a real cool guy- only thing i didnt like about them is that theyre fu(king huge! stick out kinda far but it could be a lil step for hoppin to the thank

 

Cages have to stick out away from the plastics unless you want it to bend into the plastics and mess them up.

Ive also heard nothing but good comments on the MXD cages and the owner is a great guy to talk/deal with.

Im wondering if all these people complaining about them stickin out to far are runnin them on street fighter bikes because after taking the plastics off behind any cage they stick out what seems like 2 ft from the bike.

 

Shouldn't you have asked this before you spent the money? J/K

I have read only good stuff on those cages. And the owner seems like a good guy.

 

i deal with jeff all the time and have a mxd cage myself....the cage is beautiful and can take a serious beating.....jeff is amazing to deal with...nothing but good vibes and he will take the time to help you out with what ever you need....hell even did the install on mine a a coupl beers.....my overall opionion of mxd is that they have a great product with great costumer service....

Hell ya he's a nice guy, i asked him to build a cage for a 636 like 3 weeks ago, and he hopped on that **** right away!!

 

oh yeah and i run my stunt cage on a nakid 03 gixxer and have also seen this cage on a fully faired bike......it doesnt stick out any farther than most cages...just looks like that IMO

 

yeah i have to agree that it really doesnt look like it sticks out any further then the 905 cage on the F2/F3's because ive seen the 905 in person but ive seen pics of the MXD from rider position and it doesnt stick out anymore.

I just think people are overacting about the "sticking out farther" issue.

yes....i have never once hit my shins on my mxd cage.

well, so far i'm kinda dissapointed in customer care. was told it would ship last friday, but i just found out today after 3 e-mails that something was a little wrong with the cage and it was taking longer to ship. will ship first thing tomorrow. so he says. not pissed by no means, just wish owner would have sent me an e-mail or called me to let me know that item was not shipped as planned and that it would be shipped ASAP. i guess i'll just have to wait until i get my product and hopefully, the cage will be so nice that i'll forget about the crappy customer service. but from what many have to say about their product, seems like i'll be pleased at the end. hey MXD guy, if you get to read this before you ship my cage, next day ship the damn thing. i don't mind paying extra for shipping. i'm an impatient jap. and you don't want me to shove a california roll up your poop hole do ya??? if you don't get a chance to next day it, no worries. thanks alot for all your replies.
