slow wheelie
i am wondering what the trick is for doing slow wheelies from a stop or very slow speed.. I am not sure how much clutch to give it and what rpm to start feeding the clutch at.. if anyone that can do them now can help i would be greatfull....
I will be using a 1998 gsxr 750 with one tooth down on the frount sprocket..
thanks

I pretty much have the same bike and set-up as you do. The best "all-around" gearing is One down up front and Two Up in the rear. If all you want to do is twelves or do not ride on the street, than you can go how ever many you want up in the rear.

it takes tons of practice to get this... one of the hardest things ive learned... but just keep at it and youll get it.
the main thing to riding a slow wheelie is knowing how to use the brake and keep it up... u gotta actually go past the balance point to slow it down...

Like prozak said, the most important part is the original clutch up. You wanna get it high and fast and then ease into the brake to control the wheelie. It's pretty easy once you finally get it
go to trixster.com..... dan from east coast extremes explains the 12 oclock. this is also incorporated into the slow wheelie because of the way the rear brake is used.... read it and see if it can help ya.
