do u absolutly need huge gearing for circles ???

do u absolutly need huge gearing for circles ???

i rock alot of steet **** on top of my stunting.

i was gonna go with a -1 +7

i cant keep the bike running when it gets low rpm's right now..

and im sick of stinging the sh-it out of my hands from stalling all the dam time. !

so...

do u think i could go with -1 and plus 7 and keep the bike running for circle practice still ?

#2 question...---

anybody ever swithc out their gearing using the clip style chains.

meaning.

switch back to what ever smaller sprocket and use the clip connectiong link and take out what ever needed links that you would need to take the slop out of the chain.,

has it been done.?

please awnser Question # 1 first .

you don't have to have huge gearing. I know guy's rocking circles all day long with stock gearing. I also know lots of guys using clip style masterlinks on their chains.

but for practicing / learning o's it would be alot easier to keep the bike running with more gearing.

the clicp im not worried about.

i was gonna use em for taking on and off links in the chain while i switched out sprockets.

im stock, stalling was a big problem especially when trying to make it tight and being on the brake alot, but after getting used to slip the clutch and work the gas it is better, but still a problem aldo I run high idle.

I thought about doing what it sounds like you are thinking about doing with a couple different sprockets and have a peice of chain and masterlinks with you.....the only way I think I could have made it work was to get the link-lock sprockets fromSprocket Specialists where they are cut in half so you could unbolt them and slide another in, but then you have to have some tools to take the masterlink out and put new in.......its too much work!!! I went -1 +7 on my bike, I may not have circles but I'm gonna learn this way as long as I wanna ride the street. If I switch to only riding lots then I'm gonna go back to -1 +17 that I tried but couldn't ride on the street. Good luck at whatever you do!
