Grabin the upper in a slow wheelie
Grabin the upper in a slow wheelie
Im ridin a 98 900RR -2 and 5+ with the idle at around 45 hun. I can clutch it from almost a dead stop and grab the upper with my left for a quick second. As soon as the hand comes off the clip on it throws my whole balance off. Its like im leaned too far back and depend on my arms for support.
How can I position myself so that I dont depend on my arms as much? my foot is already on the rear peg.

Re: Grabin the upper in a slow wheelie
you need to get the bike up o your just using the brake and no throttle to do the wheelie then lean forwards until your not haing your body off the bike by your arms then you cnan remove yyour hand from the bar withou tthe bike getting all squirlly. also letting the bars go to one side before you let you hand off helps to

its just a mater of you getting use to the feeling and learning how to shift your wieght to the right spot to balance it. you can also try putting your left foot in the bar or on the rear seat.
