the rear brake on my 900 rr is garbage..u really have to stomp on it for it to work good.

i was thinking maybe the master cylinder is small ?
or the caliper itself suck for some reason ?

does any other bike model like 929-954 fit on with out a **** load of mods ?

The 900 rr caliper shouldnt be the prob. If it is sticking or not sliding u should see increased wear on 1 of the pads. I've had a 900 and now have a 929...they feel the same to me. I think the only difference is the gold color. You can bolt on the 929/954 caliper the only thing you have to put on the 900 mount is the little metal clip that sits on the front of the mount (where the front of the pads would sit). For some reason the 929 clip is slightly different from the 900's

If you put the rear caliper and rear master cylinder on, the bike will stop on a dime. It is definitely 100% better stopping power.

p.s. - for some reason, the brakes last longer. Not sure why. Good luck
